Scenario
When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry’s livelihood is attacked by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a plan to get revenge and shake up the industry.
I didn’t expect it to be this good!
There’s drama, suspense, suspense, and the dialogue is downright hilarious!
Each character is thoroughly fleshed out, even if they only appear for a few minutes
However, as the plot progresses, it seems that despite the complex and personal problems experienced by each of the three main characters, the series is mostly comedic, and the proof of this is that the director has perfectly hit what makes a great comedy: MOVEMENT.
Hands down for directing
Indeed, most of the ‘funny movies or series’ released today lack this essential ingredient, namely actors who know how to use MOVEMENT for comedic effect.
